PHP Start PHP Session

A session is a way to store information (in variables) to be used across multiple pages. By default, session variables last until the user closes the browser.

<?php /** * Start_PHP_Session.php */ // Start the session session_start(); ?> <!DOCTYPE html> <html lang="en"> <head> <title>phpTeeratus</title> </head> <body> <?php // Set session variables $_SESSION["favcolor"] = "green"; $_SESSION["favanimal"] = "cat"; echo "Session variables are set."; ?> </body> </html>
